Revolut launches standalone crypto exchange

Revolut, the (mostly) global money app, has launched a standalone crypto trading exchange called Revolut X.

It’s limited to customers in just the UK for now, and is available to all UK customers with a Revolut account.

You’re able to trade over 100 tokens, including bitcoin and ethereum, and the fees are very low, with 0% maker fees, and 0.09% taker fees, irrelevant of how much volume you are trading.

There’s also no fees trading from local currency (fiat) to crypto (between Revolut X and Revolut app).

It’s aimed at experienced traders, and is an advanced platform. Revolut believes it could compete with the top tier crypto exchanges such as Coinbase.

We’re excited to check it out, and maybe it might feature as part of our best crypto exchanges table soon!

To access Revolut X, simply log in with your existing Revolut account.
